Find events in your community

Browse a calendar
Each community can have one or more calendars.
- View events in list or grid format
- Filter by:
- Date
- Tag
- Event type
View event details
Open any event to see:
- Date, time, and location
- Host and description
- Ticket options (if paid)
- Attendees
- Live updates from the host

RSVP (free events)
- Open the event
- Tap Register
You’re added to the guest list instantly.
Get a ticket (paid events)
- Open the event
- Select a ticket type (e.g. Early Bird, VIP)
- Tap Register
- Complete payment
Your ticket is saved in your Key account.
Cancel your RSVP
- Open the event
- Tap Cancel your registration?

Step 1 — Create the event
- Go to Events or your community calendar
- Tap Create Event
- Add:
- Title
- Date and time
- Location (physical or virtual)
- Description
Tip: Use Generate with AI to create a draft description.
Step 2 — Add tickets (optional)
- Go to Tickets
- Tap Add Ticket Type
- We can also create a paid ticket, connect your stripe account to proceed with it.
- Set:
- Name
- Price
- Quantity
Repeat for multiple ticket tiers.
Step 3 — Set reminders
Reminders can be sent before the event as well as after the event.
Default reminder - We have 2 default reminders that are set every time an event is created, one that gets sent 24 hours before the event and one 3 hours before the event.
Custom reminder - Go to Reminders tab - Click on Add Reminder
- Add timing and confirm recipients
Key automatically notifies attendees.
Step 4 — Invite people
You can:
- Invite members directly using email
- Share the event link
- Use guest groups (see below)
- Past events
- CSV
Step 5 — Broadcast
Keep attendees informed in real time:
- Go to Broadcast
- Tap Create broadcast
- Select who should receive the email
- Add body of the email and click on Create
Use this for:
- Schedule changes
- Room/location updates
- Announcements like “doors are open”

- Go to Guests
- See:
- Registered users
- Ticket types
- Check-in status
Approve attendees (if enabled)
- Go to Guests → Guests tab
- Review details
- Tap Approve or Reject
Check-in attendees
On event day:
- Go to Check-In
- Find attendee
- Tap Check In
Extras:
- Manual check-in for walk-ins
- Waitlist approvals when spots open

What is a calendar?
Calendars organize events within a community.
You can:
- Use the default calendar
- Create separate ones (e.g. Workshops, Webinars)
Subscribe to a calendar
- Open the calendar
- Tap Subscribe
Events appear in your personal calendar view.
Create a calendar
- Go to Calendars → Create Calendar
- Name it
- Add further details like Calendar description, Location, Links,etc (Optional) and save
Manage calendar access
Admins can:
- Approve event submissions
- Assign calendar admins
