Why we’re building Key?

The core motivation has been to solve our own problems running the Ex-Google (Xoogler) community for the last 9 years. Due to the Global Workforce Shifts and Layoffs our community grew from 14,000 members to 28,000 members in January – March 2023. To keep up with the overwhelming growth, we looked for solutions that can help and quickly realized that none exist or are very inadequate.

We set out on a goal to build a purpose-built professional networking and community platform that our community deserves.

We love communities and draw a lot of inspiration and energy from them. And now with Key, we’re building tools to unlock their potential.
